Evangeline Mostoles Lizano
Evangeline Lizano comes from the Philippines. Majoring in English, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from University of Mindanao. She was trained at Etonkids Montessori Teacher Training Academy in Beijing and holds a TESOL certificate. She teaches in PYP Kindergarten in CGS now. Having 16 years of teaching experience, she is a professional veteran teacher with solid teaching skills coupled with strong classroom management and interpersonal relationship skills. She is dedicated to creating interesting and instructive classroom environment as well as learning experience for students.
Angela Ruhland, a teacher from Germany, holds a Bachelor's degree from a German college of Higher Education. Furthermore， she has completed and passed an ESL in Mainstream course. She has been working as a Kindergarten teacher for 9 years in IB schools in China. Now, she teaches children in PYP Kindergarten in CGS. She holds the belief that teaching should be meaningful, interactive, interesting and related to life so that children can become active learners.
Dearly Gomez Campan
Dearly Campan comes from Philippines and graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master's degree in Elementary Education. She also has a TESOL certificate. Dearly has been teaching in GCGS PYP Kindergarten for almost 8 years. She is awarded Excellent Teacher in 2016. Her classes are full of creativity and passion as she uses well-planned, play and concept-based learning strategies in her classes.
Rebekah Makepeace comes from Canada and she acquired a Bachelor's degree in English literature with double minors in linguistics and French. With 7 years of teaching experience, she now works as a Kindergarten teacher in CGS. She is devoted to guiding students to discover the connection between learning and the surrounding world during the learning process.
Bryan Barrett Beard
Bryan Beard comes from the USA and graduated from Stout University with a degree in Art Education. He is also TEFL certified and holds a CELTA certificate. Having 8 years’ international experience of teaching English in foreign countries, Bryan now teaches English in CGS PYP Kindergarten. He is passionate about teaching children English and living in a multicultural environment. He is energetic and motivated to use all his experiences and knowledge to educate and inspire his students.
Christopher Henry Fagan
Chris Fagan comes from the UK and graduated from University of Ulster with a Bachelor's degree. Having taught in primary school for 10 years, he once worked in international schools in Myanmar, Thailand and now he is one of the CGS teachers in PYP Kindergarten. He has acquired several certificates including PGCE, TEFL and NVQ III. Chris believes that it is a brilliant experience to get involved in a child’s education and personal development. As the Chinese saying goes: “If you are planning for a year, sow rice. If you are planning for a decade, plant trees. If you are planning for a lifetime - educate people.”
Colin Dignam comes from Canada. He graduated from York University and Brock University, where he was conferred his Bachelor's degree in Humanities and Classical Studies and his Master's degree in Comparative Literature and the Arts. He also acquires a TESL and TEFL certificate. With over ten years of worldwide teaching experience, he is now working in CGS PYP Kindergarten. His teaching philosophy is to create favorable relationship with his students, to inspire them to learn from and with their teachers, and to enjoy themselves in the learning process.
Danielle Maureen Faulkner
Danielle Faulkner comes from the USA. She received a Bachelor's degree from University of South Florida and a Master's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. She also has a Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) at University of West Florida. Danielle also holds certificates of ESOL and TEFL. Having taught students aged from 3 to 16 in 7 countries for many years, she has her unique understanding of language learning acquisition. She endeavors to create a positive learning environment in which students can learn and grow at their own pace.
Drew Reeson Kaup
Drew Kaup comes from the USA. He studied French and World Religions at Emory University and earned a TEFL certificate. He worked in Ecuador before and now works as an English teacher in CGS PYP Kindergarten. Currently he is enrolled in an education program of the University of West Florida, planning to achieve a Master's degree in TESOL. He believes that English increases students' personal and professional opportunities in their future development.
Gabriela Vieira Carvalho
Gabriela Carvallho comes from Portugal. She graduated from the Education and Social Science School of Leiria with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has many years’ working experience in Early Childhood Education. Her passion is to teach young children and to help develop their mind. She believes it is the educator’s responsibility to provide young children with constructive learning experiences, which enable them to make good preparation for the outside world. Gabriela is now working in CGS Kindergarten as a homeroom teacher.
Jason Jeffrey Ault
Jason Ault comes from the USA. Majoring in film and audio, he graduated from both the American Intercontinental University of London and London South Bank University with a Bachelor's degree in Media Productions. He has received his CELTA certificate from International House London. He has been teaching in GCGS for 5 years. He strives for excellence and perfection in everything and hopes to help his students make their goals become reality.
Jason Lauzon is from Canada and a graduate of the University of Windsor with a Bachelor's degree in Drama and Education. He is a homeroom teacher of PYP Kindergarten in CGS now. Jason has passion for creating arts. He has spent several years directing children's musicals for Windsor Light Opera while teaching classical music and piano. Jason believes that fostering an appreciation for arts allows learners to express their thoughts, increase confidence and grow up with distinctive characters.
Jason Holder comes from England. He has a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Bradford. He is currently teaching as a kindergarten homeroom teacher. He has been teaching English in China for the past few years. He really enjoys working in kindergarten helping the kids to develop and grow as much as possible. He believes that we should treat every child equally but also respect their uniqueness. A good teacher doesn't just impart knowledge but helps to guide and develop each person's special qualities.
Jonathan Derek Thomas Shirley
Jonathan Shirley comes from the UK. He is a graduate of Derby University with a degree in Film and Television. He has been teaching for over 12 years, including 11 years of working as an international teacher in China. Currently, he is teaching in CGS PYP Kindergarten as a homeroom teacher. He would always embrace the world with open-minded attitude while teaching.
Larry Alonso Darame
Larry Darame comes from the USA and graduated from one of the most influential American public universities—The University of California (Berkley). He has 7 years experience in early childhood education. He is now working as a homeroom teacher in CGS Kindergarten. Before joining CGS, he worked as a principal of an international kindergarten in Wuhan for 4 years. He has extensive knowledge of curriculum theory, teaching methodology and philosophy. He believes positive attitude and love is the best education, which is also the best tool to help children achieve their overall development.
Mark McDade comes from the UK and graduated from university with a degree in Film and Photography. He has acquired a CELTA certificate as well as an International Teaching License for Early Years Education. Currently, he is engaged in further study to obtain a Master's degree in Elementary Education. He works in PYP Kindergarten in CGS. He always aims to create a positive and safe classroom environment in which each child can learn to use their own unique learning style and learn about what they want to learn.
Rodney Allan Callinan
Rodney Callinan is from Australia. He graduated from The University of Canberra in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education. In 2015, he completed his Master's course in Education and gained his TESOL certificate in the same time. He has taught various levels of students ranging from kindergarten to university. He teaches English in CGS PYP Kindergarten currently and shows great intelligence and passion in his classes.
Tasnim Hamid comes from South Africa. She holds a Bachelor’ degree in English and studied a Master course in TEFL. She is now teaching as a kindergarten homeroom teacher. She has lots of experience in teaching Kindergarten. What she loves most about teaching kids is their unending curiosity and creativity. She believes that when children feel safe and valued, their potential for growth is limitless. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her two kids as well as exploring new places and learning about new culture with them. Students love her classes because of her patience and kindness.
