 Dramatic Reading

                         

Teaching Aims. 教学目的

1. Get the kids to understand the story first.

  让学生理解故事。

2. Enlarge their vocabulary.   扩大学生的词汇量。

3. Raise the Ss’ ability of dramatic reading. 提高学生的朗诵能力。

I. Greetings.问候

II. Warm up:热身

1.     Sing a song.  唱一首英文歌。

2. Central topic: Emotions Practice 表情练习

Offer a certain emotion like excited / frustrated / scared…for the students to perform. Get some volunteers to perform in front of others.

要求学生练习表演某种表情如:兴奋、沮丧、害怕等。鼓励学生自愿到台前表演。

3. Discussion: 师生交流讨论:

How do you think of his/her performance? Why do you think so?

师:你觉得他/她的表演怎样?为什么?

III. Presentation.新课

1. Ask some questions: 课前问题。

------Did you see the moon last night?  昨晚你看见了月亮吗?

------Do you know the moon?         你知道有关月亮的知识吗?

------Did you get to the moon?         你去过月球吗?

------Do you know one day a little frog wants to fly to the moon?

   How does it go, do you want to know?

    你知道吗?有一天一只小青蛙想飞上月球?你想知道它是怎样去的吗?

2.     Listen to the story, show the pictures and word cards at the same time. 

听故事,用图片帮助理解。

    Let’s enjoy the story. Please listen.  让我们欣赏这个故事。

3. Let some students do actions according to the tape.

       让学生听录音表演故事。

I’d like some one to perform the story. Who wants to try?

         谁能表演这个故事?

4. Listen to the first paragraph, then let them drill in teams.

      听第一段,然后分组练习。

T: Let’s listen to the first paragraph. 

    After this, let them read it out team by team.

   ( Having a competition in teams.让我们先听第一段,然后分组练习。

  T: Please read it team by team. Team One / Team Two… Which team is the best one?

  Then let the best team read again, and ask the students read together.

T: Ok, Team …, please read again. The frog wants to fly up to the moon, what is his mood? (It thirsts for.) Read together, please.

最好的一组,请再读一遍。小青蛙想飞到月球上去,此刻它的心情是怎样的?  (非常渴望去)对了, 让我们再齐读一遍。

5. Listen to the second paragraph. Let some students read sentence by sentence. Then drill and read in teams. ( Use the same way to have the competition.)

  听第二段,让学生一句一句的读。然后分组练习。

  T:  Please listen to the second paragraph.

Can the bird fly to the moon?( No, it can’t. )

小鸟能飞上月球吗?  (不能)

    Can the plane fly to the moon? ( No, it can’t.)

    飞机能飞上月球吗?   (不能)

What is the frog’s mood now? ( Very disappointed, very sad.)

 现在小青蛙的心情怎样?  (非常失望,非常难过)

Yes, you are right. I’d like someone to read sentence by sentence. Who’d like to try.  So drill this in groups emotional.

对了。谁能读? 分组有感情的读。

6. Listen to the third paragraph, let some pairs to read and act out.

  Let them drill in teams, then choose someone to practice.

  ( Use the same way to have the competition.)

   听第三段,找同学表演。

T: Listen to the last paragraph. Who can fly to the moon? ( A big rocket).

  Right. What is the frog feeling now? ( Very happy.)

  Why? ( Because he can fly to the moon by the rocket.)

  Ok, drill this paragraph. Who can read?

  谁能飞上月球?(火箭)  小青蛙现在心情怎样?(非常高兴)

  为什么呢?(因为它可以乘火箭去月球)

V. Practice: 练习

1. Listen to the story again.  再听一遍录音。

2. Play a game: Send some pictures of bird, plane, rocket to some students.做游戏:把一些图片发给学生(鸟,飞机,火箭)

  Let one student perform the frog and say some sentences. If who takes the pictures in these sentences must come to the front, and say “ I am…”   让学生任意表演一段,谁拿的图片与这一段有关,马上跑上前并说:我是……

3. Get four students in a group and drill the story by themselves.

   四人一组练习表演故事。

4. Let them perform the story.  让学生在全班表演。

5. Let the students be the judgement then tell which group is the best.`

   学生自己判断哪一组最好。

IV. Summary 小结

   Recall the characters of a good performance. Encourage the students to try better later on.

回忆精彩的表演应具备哪些特点。鼓励学生在今后的课中表演更佳。
